Scarecrow Trail 3-6th June 2022 – Murrow and Gorefield
Exciting Announcement
Murrow Primary Academy and Gorefield Primary Academy, (Part of the Diamond Learning Partnership Trust) are pleased to announce that they are sponsoring a Scarecrow Trail around both villages – Murrow and Gorefield.
We are planning for this to be open to the public take place over the long weekend of 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th of June when the country will be marking the Queen’s Jubilee. The theme of the Scarecrow trail will be “The Royal Family”.
From Friday 3rd June to Monday 6th of June we would welcome you walking around your village to explore all the entries into this trail. Entries will need to be registered with head@murrow.cambs.sch.uk by Wednesday 1st June 2021. Please include your address and name in the email. On Friday, (9am – 2pm) Scarecrow trail maps will be available at Murrow Primary Academy and Gorefield Primary Academy. The maps will cost £5 – funds will be donated to Cancer Research.
Those who walk the trail will be able to judge for the best one, by posting their votes into the voting box at each school gate, over the weekend of the trail. The winning entry, ie the one with the most votes, will receive a prize, (one from each school).
